Judge Lawrence Army - Former Massachusetts Court Judge
A Shrewsbury resident, Judge Lawrence Army presided over the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. From 2021 to 2025, Judge Lawrence Army adjudicated over 1,000 cases involving divorce, custody, guardianship, and estate matters, until he founded Concili8 LLC, an alternative dispute resolution practice.
Moreover, Mr. Army provides private adjudication, mediation, and conciliation services. He facilitates the settlement of high-stakes family and probate law matters. He oversees a practice that provides clients with cost-effective alternatives to traditional litigation that lead to agreeable terms, leveraging his judicial experience in Massachusetts family and probate court.
In addition to managing Concili8 LLC, Mr. Army lectures at the Massachusetts Bar Association in Hampden County and the Department of Children and Families. He is on the board of directors for the Greg Hill Foundation. His past group memberships include serving on the executive committee of the Worcester County Bar Association, serving as chairman of the Grafton Housing Authority, serving on the Town of Grafton Affordable Housing Committee, and serving on the Family Law Section council for the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Mr. Army earned a bachelor’s in communications from Seton Hall University and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
